The Debasement Bar (DBar) is a private club managed by the House Committee which serves resident and non-resident members of the Graduate College House who are over 21 years of age. Located below Proctor Hall in the Graduate College, the DBar offers a wide variety of beer, wine, and cocktails as well as all sorts of entertainment! Live music performances, parties, trivia, and karaoke are regularly scheduled events, and the high definition TV, foosball, and pool tables are always available for you to use—it’s a great place to relax and meet your neighbors and colleagues! It’s also a great place to host your own event, just email us at dbar@princeton.edu, and we’ll work with you to plan it!
To keep up with our schedule and hear about our events every week, sign up for our listserv (https://lists.princeton.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=dbar-events&A=1) and follow us on Facebook (Debasement Bar and DBar) and Instagram (@dbarprinceton).
The DBar is only open to members of the club and their guests. All PU housing residents are automatically members, unless they choose to opt out. Graduate students who do not live in university housing can become members for a nominal fee. All members and their guests must show proof of membership and age to the door person upon entry, and each member may sign in up to nine guests. Members are legally responsible for the subsequent behavior of their guests. No one under 21 is permitted to enter during hours of operation. Please help us follow the law. Without our license, there would be no DBar. Thanks!
